Creation
Station
Last
week we took CJ to Creation Station in Milngavie (inside
Cairns church hall) and it was a DEFINATE returning activity!
We will be going back without a doubt!
CJ truly loved the class which was a delight as CJ hasn't
been great in a class setting so far.
Amrit who runs the class is friendly and welcoming without
being too in your face or fake (as I often feel many children's
workers come across) and as she is actually a qualified
teacher she def knows how to handle the kiddies.
There were children of all ages in the class from about
1 to about 8. And each one truly enjoyed it.
There was a short cheery group circle time and then Amrit
explained what we'd bemaking then allowed each child to
get an apron on and find a space at a table. Each child
had their own paint pallet etc so there was no sharing issues
and as there was
just a general directcion children were encouraged to design
their craft (this week was a fish) any way they wanted.
This was particularly good with the varied ages in the group.
Paint, Glue, Glitter, sticky things, feathers....... and
all the mess cleaned up for
you afterwards! FAB!
